Inktense, waterbased ink, and pastel. July, 2016.  55″ x 84″ This is based on an earlier sketch from the warehouse.  The carousel animals appear to have broken free from the mechanisms that bound them, and a resulting panic ensues.

Reductive Monoprints

29″ x 21.25″ 2016 In a reductive monoprint, the artist begins by covering the matrix, in this case a sheet of clear acrylic, with ink and wiping out all the white parts. These images were created from sketchbook drawings made at the Running Horse Studio Collection in Irwindale, CA.
