Reductive Monoprints

In a reductive monoprint, the artist begins by covering the matrix, in this case a sheet of clear acrylic, with ink and wiping out all the white parts.
These images were created from sketchbook drawings made at the Running Horse Studio Collection in Irwindale, CA.

  1. This is an amazing body of work Helen, that I will go back to many times. The horses literally jump of the page. You can feel there power, as if they are trying to beak free from there bondage. Congratulations.
